Cutting Back
Submitted by tomw on 18 July, 2007 - 22:06.For those of you who are wondering why I haven't reported much lately it's because there has been nothing to report.
After blowing the C2 engine on the Pirelli, we couldn't get the parts in time to enter the Jim Clark. After this Jamie has decided due to personal reasons that he can't continue.
Gutted!
Submitted by tomw on 23 April, 2007 - 18:20.We ran the C2 on the Pirelli International this weekend. Our first competitive outing in the car and since our test we had made some changes to the car.
The first four stages were run on friday night and we struggled to find any real speed in the car but were lucky when many of our C2 rivals had problems and we emerged 5th in class and leading the C2 cup.
C2R2 Test
Submitted by tomw on 1 April, 2007 - 22:25.Well the new car was finished (mostly) last week and this weekend Jamie Hickman and I tested it in Wales.

We hired a small area of forest near Lampter in mid Wales for the day and had our very own rally stage about 1.5 miles in length. At each end was enough room to pull the handbrake and go back the other way. Our 'stage' had a hairpin and a square corner as well as some high speed bends and a varying surface with some rough and smooth bits. The venue was exactly what we needed to shake down the car.
2007 plans
Submitted by tomw on 4 January, 2007 - 20:47.Jamie Hickman and I have come to an agreement for 2007 and are teaming up in his new Citroen C2-R2 (once he's built it).
We are entering the C2 cup which runs as part of the British Rally Championship.

Submitted by tomw on 5 December, 2006 - 20:27.Not much to report at the moment, except it's now winter so all the decent stage rally championships have ended for the year. Roll on 2007 (anyone need a co-driver)?
