Club Championship tables
Were half way through the season has no one done anything are the results not getting through
as were running out of time to fit that extra event in if needed WHATS HAPPENING
somebody do something
ATB Mike
I have today received the points table data from Tom, and will be starting to look at getting some tables sorted with the invaluable help of Tony. Please forward copies of any results for non Chelmsford events and we will get this years championship tables rolling.
Ed
does Monteberg count
Monteberg could count if it complied with the championship rules, were Chelmsford an invited club ?
You might get points deducted for being my little sister, but my neice "Charlotte" could get bonus points, I will have to refer to the championship rules on that....
Tony is working on a revised format for the tables, so be patient for a few days, and by the way, congratulations on the Charity Stages at the weekend, everyone I have spoken to loved it. Maybe you could get some bonus points for that...
Ed
The rules just say:
--
The following points shall be awarded for members entering as Chelmsford motor club as shown on the event entry list. Allowances will be made if CMC is not an invited club.
--
Monteburg is allowed without, but you could have got Chelmsford and Wickford on the entry list by naming them as the Entrant. It is what many people seem to do:

will try that next year
Ed, what's your email addy? Will resend everything over.
Thanks Tom for the time and effort you've put in
It is on the contacts and championship pages, but wait until the tables are up - then you can see what you still need to claim for.
The main championship tables are now on this page:
http://chelmsfordmc.co.uk/Championships
Special cases like the Clubman's and 12 Cars will take a little longer.
Thank you Tony for sorting the format and posting the tables. I'm sure there are many gaps, but we can only post points if we have them.
Please check the provisional tables and send me anything else that needs adding, and that includes you Ben, I think you have been out on a few events this year that have not yet made it onto the points table.
Well now that we have live, online championship tables, hopefully people will have the incentive to send results in. I'll add a form to make submitting them a bit easier soon.
........thankyou for all the results, Mike, Ben, Lizzie, Richard, Irene, Paul, Tony and anyone else I have forgotten to mention.
This is going to take me a few days to sort through that lot, all in different disiplines, thanks ....
It's a good job I cleared the office up earlier today so I have some room to work. The Championship tables will evolve over the next few days.
Nice one Ed - well done.
Richard, I still have autotests and some stage rallies to input amongst others. The bulk of the work formatting the tables has of course been Tony, but I will keep adding data over the weekend to continue in the quest to get it up to date.
Tables look great and thanks to Tony efforts they are now online. Looking forward to seeing the online 'claim form' too. Tony, can you put a space in the form for a link to any online results?
Yes, of course. It will just be a form that emails Ed, so that he can confirm the results.
Some of the road rally results don't have class positions entered yet, so the calculated points appear as "9" in the Clubman's table. This will change when Ed hunts down the class information.
Emailed you over some results earlier Ed, sorry to add to the workload!
Road Rally Class Positions now entered, so Clubmans furter updated.
Still have some autotests, scatters, and additional stage rallies to add, which will be sometime over the weekend, hopefully.
That will probably change the clubman leaderboard again once they are all in.
I have now inputted all the results that have been sent in.
Please check the tables, any errors or omissions, let me know as soon as possible.
The only results that are missing is a couple of stages rallies where I need to search and find results before adding.
Anything else, we have not been sent points, so if you want points, send the results....
Currently we have Ben and Mike tying on 26 for the Clubmans, but with Ian, Suze, Matt and Rich only a few points seperating them.
Kevin Ablit just one point clear in the 12 Car Championship.
Dave Town leading the Road Rally by only two points.
Road Rally Navigator is also very close with only one point seperating Lizzie and Rob.
Tony and Paul currently ahead of the field in the Stage Rally,
Mike has a clear lead over young Greg in the Autotest Points.
It's going to be an interesting second half to the year, everything still to play for, and plenty of CMC invited events left for you to choose from.
The points that you see are calculated from the results that Ed inputs - so if you find a fault with that, let me know.
Guess you had a fun weekend then Ed, sorting through that lot!
Just seen the claim form, looks good, good idea too.
I suspect Tom Ward will leap ahead of me when his points are awarded. He's currently leading the BRC Challenge I think.
Not any more I don't think....understand last weekend on the Manx didn't go that well [that may be an understatement].
Good effort gentlemen tables look great all your efforts are well appreciated . And Ed your right young greg may be a bit close think i'll make him stay home and do homework instead of next autotest !
Thanks tom for last few years and good luck in new job.
ATB Mike
I am aware that two more Autotests have run in Kent with CMC crews again in attendance.
Can someone e.mail me the results and I can enter everybodies in the tables, or you can of course enter them yourselves using the on.line form. Either way, we are two events short on the tables.
Ed
Just forwarded the results from 2nd July [only came through a couple of days ago]. There was an evening autotest last night but will prob take a couple of weeks to get results.
Autotest tables updated with Sevenoaks 2nd July results. Mike Thomas still just ahead by a few points.
Thanks Ed
The 16th Juky Autotest results just received, so points table updated (again). Mike has pulled away a good lead, with just over half the year gone, will Matt do a few more events to catch him.
Drystone was added a few days ago, so pleased to report the tables should be as up to date as results received.
I see one team swapping driver / navigator for the Hutton Kitchens Woodbridge Stages to gain extra points for the Clubmans Championship. This is likely to be a hotly contested trophy this year.
Ed
We're doing an autosolo on Sunday, do they count towards autotest points? Think they come under autotests in the BB but not sure how they count point wise. In clubmans, do you have to finish to get points, ie what happens if you retire?
They have been put in the Autotest championship before. You need a class position for Clubman's points, so get nothing if you retire (like your Car Trial DNF).
There are quite a few CMC members out on the autosolo which is at North Weald. Might've missed some as not all have entered under CMC but Matt and I are competing, Rich Baker and Greg Clark are in the Toyota, Kevin Ablitt is out in a 106 and Nick Pope is competing in his Lancia Fulvia.
Having received a pile of emails and points updates over the last two days for additional events, some of the stage rallies and road rallies from earlier in the year have been added. Many thanks for the results, I have been through the entry lists and hope I havn't missed anyone.
Matt Fowle has now taken the lead in the clubmans tables by 2 points, as well as the Stage Rally Drivers table
Clair Abrey has just jumped into the lead of the Road Rally Drivers
Rob Henchoz leads the Road Rally Navigators
Any more, please forward, tables are being updated as soon as we get results.
Ed
The 12 car table is now back to being one for drivers and one for navigators. I'm not sure why it was different last year, but it is now more consistent with stage and road rallies, and back to how it was in 2007.
Thank you Tony.
The tables are now far more consistent with drivers and navigators shown seperatly, and an annual award for each, as it was in 2007 and before.
Sorry for the adjustment, and look forward to a competitive second half of the year.
Ed
Tables updated with some sprints, Sevenoaks Autotest 9th August results received at the weekend, and of course last weekends Richard Burns Memorial Rally.
I think that's all up to date, unless someone still has some results to forward !
Ed
The Championship tables are now updated following last weekends Stages, Exmoor Endurance, Jersey Rally, Autosolo, plus the recent Autocross........as far as we know, that is everything up to date, unless you know different.
Ed
Just some data on the club tables ;
We currently have 463 individual points entries
58 seperate events listed
119 members allocated points.
We have found a couple of events from earlier in the year to be added, but if you have points to claim, please forward full details. Our members compete in a fairly diverse range of events from one side of the UK to the other, so we need your help to keep track on them all...
Ed

A big thanks to Tom Peddle for the effort he has put in over the last few years to produce well appreciated results. He now no longer has the time to continue and so Ed Scott has very kindly agreed to take on this onerous job with the full approval of the committee.
Please send all your points claims for 2009 to Ed as soon as possible so that he can update the tables and produce a current set of results.
