This will be sent out to all the people on the Marshals list (snail mail / email)
Hi All!

My Name is Michael Juniper and I am contacting you, as I am the Chief Marshall on this years’ East Anglian Classic Historic Road Rally.

The event is on Saturday 21st April, and I am looking for volunteers to help with Chelmsford Motor Clubs round of the Historic Rally Car Registers Championship.

I am looking for Marshals at all Skill levels to help make this event run, so why not bring a friend as well, to introduce them into this fast paced “Retro” Sport! - All are welcome!

The Event will be taking place along a route of approximately 180 miles of Norfolk using Sculthorpe Airfield and Special Tests!

Rally H.Q. is Kings Lynn Ramada Hotel, so we will need Marshals to be able to place themselves around this area for the all of Saturday, from Rally Start at 9.00am until Finish 5.30pm.

Please could you let me know your availability at your earliest convenience, to ensure that can make this event happen!!

Best Regards

Michael Juniper

Jim, I suspect that the

Jim, I suspect that the organisers are busy organising up in deepest Norfolk. If there is anyone out these wanting to marshall, then they should either contact Michael Juniper, number earlier in the thread, else turn up to Sculthorpe at 8.00 - 8.30 - what do you think?

Sculthorpe is a good bet

I've not quite left yet - just put the bad tyres on my car to wear out...

Sculthorpe from 8-8:30 would be a good place.

Brandiston airfield from about 10:30.

A couple of marshals to cover the petrol halt MTC at Roughton (near Cromer) from 12:30 and a regularity control near there from 12:00 would be handy.

If Michael isn't about, Gavin Leech on 07840 909376 would be a good person to contact.
