Road Rally Navigators, module.4. This will be Road Rally Timing, Time Cards, Time Controls, rules on making up time, or not, will all be discussed. We need to start at 8.15 prompt for about 45 minutes, as the evening will be followed by the AGM. As previously I have series of notes but an open forum discussion would be good, as we now have several of you who have competed on various events.
We will be issuing a record card where you can keep a record of your attendance at the Seminars, and to encourage you to put it into practice you can claim discounts on our events that you subsequently enter.

Navigator Training

Thanks letting me know It won't be just me. See everybody as early as you can, we will start no later than 8.15, as there will be no penalty free lateness, and you can't arrive at the control and book in before your due time....well you probably can this once.

Navigator Training

Well it was a bit of a squeeze and much noisier in the smaller bar, but seemed to go OK, thankyou for those that attended. We managed to cover Scheduled timing, different types of sections and controls, time cards, lateness, the secrets of when to make up time and when not, and finally some examples of how organisers make events competitive. I hope it was worth it for those that attended, and we are putting dates to run more training modules shortly.

You Certainly can Kevin. I

You Certainly can Kevin.

I found it really helpful - I learnt so much - shame we did not have longer. You should call them crew training- as you mentioned the Driver can do his/her bit on the event to help with the timing.

Well Done Ed

PS: It might be useful if the Marshal's were shown how the time card works ? I know Richard - who was gate crashing - said that he learnt a great deal.
