The 2007 Midsummer Endurance regs are now out - a day/night road rally for cars built to the Endurance Road Rally formula.
This year the event moves to north Norfolk and is again supporting the East Anglian Air Ambulance; last year we raised over £1100 for the charity.
The rally will be based around RAF Sculthorpe, with afternoon selectifs forming the bulk of the day leg. The night leg will include a road rally type format using a selection of both public tracks and lanes.
The start, finish & breakfast-time awards presentation will be at Fakenham racecourse http://www.fakenhamracecourse.co.uk – camping and caravanning is available if you so wish.
As always, to keep the standard as high as previous years, we will rely on an army of marshals of all experiences to help with the Saturday afternoon Selective Tests, and the 150 mile night route ending with a final visit to Sculthorpe in the early hours of Sunday morning.
If you can offer to help, get on the list early to guarantee your place, talk to Ed Scott or Jon Wilson at any clubnight, or simply email us your details at MidsummerChiefMarshal@chelmsfordmc.co.uk where they will be much appreciated. Make sure you include your email and home address details, as all offers to help will be acknowledged, and indicate how many likely to be with you, and if you are available Sat afternoon and/or the Sat/Sun night route.
Look forward to hearing from you, and seeing you all on the 9th / 10th June.

2007 EACS Midsummer Endurance

With only just over 6 weeks to go before the Midsummer Endurance on 9 /10th June, both the day and night route are shaping up to be the best ever. If you are not competing, to avoid missing out on the best of the action, give me a call on 01277 650917 as I still need plenty of help marshalling the event.
Alternatvly simply email us your details at MidsummerChiefMarshal@chelmsfordmc.co.uk. Don't forget to include your email and home address details, as all offers to help will be acknowledged, and indicate how many likely to be with you, and if you are available Sat afternoon and/or the Sat/Sun night route.

Midsummer less than 3 weeks away

With our Gymkhana now complete, our attentions turn to our biggest event of the year, the EACS Midsummer Endurance Rally.
Although we have had many confirmed offers to marshal, which is greatly appreciated, with such a massive mileage, we still have key controls to allocate.
If you are available, and haven't already been in touch, the earlier you are able to confirm, the better our event planning will be.
Give me a call on 01277 650917, or email me,
Looking forward to hearing from you.
