The other Spring Stages at Driffield

This was the first round of the Yolohama Peugeot 205 Challenge this year and a number of CMC members were here too.

I took part for the very first time as driver on this event in my lovely little Pink Pug. I was a bag of nerves before hand but settled down as soon as I put my foot down at the start of SS1.

Apparently I was leading the 1400 Beginners until the end of SS4 then a mate of mine in a BM, who NEVER makes a mistake, crashed out on SS5, which I must admit I took to heart. Even though I slowed right down after that I still managed to finished 2nd Beginner and needless to say had a brilliant day.

Who says rallying is just for boys?
