I was up in North Norfolk today and it is VERY wet up there - in true Norfolk style it was raining heavily up there all day today too even if it was dry elsewhere. I think we will find some muddy tracks next weekend all right.
Any body doing the mid summer who woulld like to do a team entry ?
we are car 45 rover 200 this is the first event of this type we have enterd any takers please let me know regrds kevin
Im sure I speake for all the compeditors about to embark on the middsummer When I say a big thank you to all the organisers, marshalls and every body concerned in puting on this event and giving up so much of there time to do so.
Just adding to the thanks to all the marshalls and officials who created such an tough challenge.
Additional thanks to Neil & Dave (28) for the fan belt.
See you next year.
A big thanks to all the marshals who helped make the Midsummer run so smoothly from start to finish. Their were so many who helped marshal the event, and put in so much, from the marshals who were at 5 separate locations over the day and night routes, to those who made the commitment to help so early on, through to those who helped at the last minute. Without every single one of you, we could not have made the event run as smoothly as it did, and on behalf of the organising team, we were thankful of the huge support.

Yes the chicken was great colin recons it gave us extra traction on the muddy bits.

Thank you once again to all the organisers, marshalls and fellow compeditors ( a special thanks to car No 36 for stoping to help with our off) First one of these events we have done. And enjoyed every minute of it Comisarations to all the crews who had to retire for one reason or another and congratulations to all those that finished. A true endurance event.ps I thought norfolk was ment to be flat we found lots of un flat bits
Fantastic event! Loved every bump.
Thanks to the dedicated organising team and the ever cheerful marshals. It never ceases to amaze me how many people give up their time. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. Congratulations to my driver (Dave Hedgecox) who chucked a standard very good condition VW Polo down the whites on only his 2nd ever event. We managed to lighten the vehicle a bit on the way as bits dropped off. Funniest moment of the night for me was going down a white with the driver trying to put the glass back in the door mirror. I had to politely remind him to hang on to the steering and watch where he was going or the mirror would be the least of our troubles!
Thanks everyone

Thanks to all the marshals and the organising team. The event seemed to run smoothly, even if the roads weren't
We really enjoyed it, shame about the off. Thanks to the recovery guys for getting us going again. I hope I didn't distract you into falling into that hole on Peddars way and costing you a top 3 place Matt, sorry.
I could blame it on other people, getting beached. But i won't the road was just very very rough, and that's just rallying. Still pleased with 5th O/A and first expert

My last visit to the CMC site before heading for Norfolk (via the shed of course to load at least 5 vehicles with equipment).
Good luck to the competitors and even better luck to the hardworking organisers and marshals.
Any would be marshals that have not already committed their souls to Ed Scott should do so NOW
