Yes, that's a shame. It was the date that worked for the organisers and venue.
Irene, not sure if anyone at WAC have seen, but if you look at the latest AEMC event calendar, it shows the WAC autocross, crossed out, as if it has been cancelled. You may want to get in touch with them to have it reinstated.
I will take you up on that challenge!
Looking at the Gymkhana results you came 12 (1.6 205) and I was 18 (1.4 205 with no brakes), so if you fancy it let me know?

Peter / Richard - just killing a little time & I noticed that this conversation started on the Autotest forum event date September 9th but with a reference Autocross, event date August 18th. Could be a bit of a disaster if you are talking at cross purposes about different events!
19th Aug for the CMC autocross. All welcome, we have tried to make it 'standard car' friendly with single car starts (so no peppered windscreen at the start). You will need a 1.75l AFFF fire extinguisher (G6.12.1 - Q3.1.2(b), mud flaps (G5.3.1) and a sticker near the ignition key telling you which way to turn it off (G5.6.1). Standard seat belts are ok, as are standard seats as long as ANY seat movement needs a lever to be pulled or knob to be twisted (E12.3.1).

The Autotest 9 Sept is the only I can make as I am on my honeymoon for the Autocross, but more than happy to car share with Richard on the 9 Sept.

Anyone who's competing and wouldnt mind someone to attempt to beat them in there own car could always offer me a go
My car will be in its 'smoking engine, crunching gearbox rebuild stage' when this event is upon us.

Put entry in post this morning so, car dependent, should be there.
Irene, I see that the WAC Autocross has moved to the 16th Sept. Will we see you on the 9th now?
Richard
I think Charlotte & Rob will do it - not sure about us as Richard has a Marquee to take down.
September seems to be rather busy for us at the moment
1st Woodpecker
2nd Longcross
16th WAC Autocross
23rd WAS Grass AT
Will speak to Charlie later and get some entries in.
PS: our AT regs for the airfield are now out would you like a set!! I will try and get them on the web next week.
Unfortunately I am still on holiday on the 26th, so it'll be a non start for me.
Richard
