will this be a tight autotest or more like the type last used at bradwell?
may be interested in comeing out for a play

As we are not using bollards, just arrows I assume it will flow ,more.

Speak to Dan and I am sure he will fill you in on the layout.

Will not be as wide as yesterday or as long?

i think if its a bit like yesterday i will put an entry in, can always pull out if its too rough as i will be using my track day car

We went and collected the stakes up tonight - the only bit of track that was rutted,was the hairpin in the nettles where the ground was soft. all the other bits were good . bearing in mind this field had not been cut for years and was only done on the Sat AM.

As for the AT venue this is a grass field (much like your one I think) so it should be nice and smooth. Not sure how long it is etc you will need to speak to Dan - I do not think it will be a mile long like yesterday. But having the Pub next door will be a bouns if the weather holds out.

I must say the feed back we got from drivers and spectator, and members of the public were very positive. - Peter Rayner got FTD on his last run - one of the first out meant the rest of them really did drive there little socks off.

I spoke with Dan last night and the entries were low, so hopefully some more support for the event can be drummed up. I will be sending an entry in this week.
(Dave are you planning to be at the club night this week?)

Can anyone from WAC confirm the Map Ref? Regs say 952 097, but that plot's in Tollesbury, across the water from Southminster, when I check the O/S map online. I can see a couple of pubs in Southminster, one plots around 952 987

I have just also looked at the map - all I know it is behind the Rose Pub - looking at the map should be approx

168 - 952 867 not 097 - no doubt Dan was using an old map at the time.

I need to dig a proper paper map out at home. According to O/S online, that plots in Shoeburyness! I'll try tonight at home.

Ah, OK, that would be 168 / 952 987 then. That's on the B1021 between Southminster & Burnham. Let's hope that other competitors know where it is!
