Production Car Trial

With a little over two weeks to go, I only have two entries (thanks Dave Thomson). Please let me know whether you are planning to enter the event. The Production Car Trial has been running since the mid Sixties, with only one gap year due to flooding and Foot & Mouth, and it would be a shame to loose the event from the calendar. It will run with 10 confirmed entries, but no less.

Hi Richard,
Unfortunetly will not be able to put 3 entries in this year, no suitable car.Vauxhall, broken and the Corsa not ready. However we should get back from the Tempest Saturday eve, so we are around if you require some to marshal's or if anyone wants someone to sit beside them.

Irene do you want to double drive the rover to help increase the enrty list? You are more than welcome if you want to.

Irene, yes please marshals always welcome, but if you can grab an entry with Kevin, even better.

Entries are creeping up, so hopefully we'll reach the magical 10+ to make it happen

Dave Thompson said I could do this event in his corsa at the weekend, i think I'm taking his brother place for the PCT. What licence would I need for this event and how do i sign up? I have emailed Dave to confirm this is still ok.

Karen, yes Dave mentioned it to me too & I have you on the list. No special licence needed.
I assume that you are a member of CMC, if not you can join on tne day for £1 for the event, or £10 full membership which will last you for 2008 as well.
I have an entry form partially completed by Dave, which you just need to sign on the day.

After unloading the car I see we have gained a flask and some goodies, which I think belong to Harvey - I can either give them to Ed for friday eve, or next Monday or if you required them before please let me know.

Yes you were a great Navigator - if it wasn't for you pushing me i would have stopped at the steep bit - like i did before when i got the dent & swore - sorry about that again! Pass on my thanks to Harvey - his bouncing was very good!
