Want a service crew? TGC students available for upcoming events.

You probably know that I am running a couple of courses in Motorsport Vehicle Engineering at Thames Gateway College.

I have a total of 30 students, all of whom must gain experience working on competition cars at events. Most have already been out on the Hutton Kitchens Woodbridge Stages.

I currently have 8 students who need to go out on an event in the next two months to collect evidence for thier assessments. This involves them inspecting the car pre-mid and post event according to the checksheets we supply.

All the studenst have basic traning and will be useful for changing and inspecting wheels and tyres, inspecting brake, transmission and suspension components and doing fluid level top ups. Some of the students are already qualified mechanics and are therefore sonewhat more useful.

If you need help on an event, please post here. The students will monitor the thread and offer their services when they are available.
