I would be interested in others' experience of getting rally cars MOTd. Is it straightforward or do issues such as not having "standard" front seat belts and so on cause problems?

Are there any known "rally-friendly" MOT places in the Chelmsford area?

Nick

MOT testing

Along with several other members, we get our rally cars MOT'd at Phil Wilkins in London Road Billericay. Tel: 01277 626579.
He is a CMC member, does the MOT's himself.
Wouldn't have thought bucket seats and belts are a problem, but if the MOT tester is not familiar with them, may not understand what to look for in the secure fixing points, etc, so would be worth the drive from Chelmsford to Billericay.

Can offer a good mot centre linked to rally prep garage in Cambridge area if any use.
