Saturday 12th Jan, the Lombard Endurance Rally scheduled to be on Sky. Motors TV at 3pm, should feature many of the local crews who we regularly see out on CMC events, and hopefully Matt Endean performing his stuff in the Rover.
I,ve watched most of it and recorded all but the first bit.

Lots of Owen & Jamie Turner interviews + Matt Fowle - looks like a CMC event ! Interesting insight into how the Turners manipulated their road position during the first evening re -seeding tests. An apparent advantage in running later on the road was that the chicanes got wider after being clipped and as they were not all observed or repaired you could go a lot faster.
Bloomin' drivers get all the publicity... I was feeling pretty grim at that morning anyway... I do seem to be hanging around or trying to look busy in a couple more of the shots tho.
Jim your bang on with your observation... I think running just outside the top 10/15 would have been optimal.
I heard that my interview did feature on the TV coverage, but i have yet to see it as i was at the HRCR Open Day with the EAC Team.
