Twyford Wood Stages on the 20/4
Well, we've broken our duck. Wendy G and I competed in our first stage rally together on Sunday together (my first ever stage rally)in the red 106. After a fairly scary moment over an unmarked jump on the first stage that resulted in a classic peugeot flight (front bumper first on landing!!)resulting in a puncture (lost 3 minutes running on the rim to get to the end of the stage. We settled down to have a great event finishing 29th of 70 starters and 9th in class on what was a pretty rough event. Wanted to say a big thankyou to Wendy for her calm when we needed it and her drive when she felt we could push harder.
Also wanted to thank everyone in the club that offered advice at Woodbridge at the end of march on ride heights, rotating front struts and tyres. The car went really well all day (the driver was the limiting factor!)
Really looking forward to the next one together which is planned to be the Dukeries.
How do you guys in the Seirra 4x4 get on in the end? (sorry I'm terrible with names!!)
Well done to all the CMC crews,on what was a very wet,windy,wild,slippy,rough event !!
Kevin seemed to get better in the afternoon once to got to grips with his set up and Rob and Wendy set some decent times

well done wendy and the other CMC crews out , its a shame we were all at differnt events on the same weekend. - I heard it was a bit slippery from the WAC crews, you should have come to Longcross - it was dry and sunny, and a good time was had by all.
