The Annual Awards presentation for 20 categories of Motor Sport , ranging from Rallies , Autotest , Trials , Officials , Juniors, Newcomers ( and the unlucky Fender Bender) take place next week at  our Little Waltham club night. There's an address link on this page.

Plenty of new faces are attending from far afield so come along and support them with a cheer.

70th Anniversary Event - 16th May

Hi,

I can't quite believe it's 10 years since our last 'big' club celebration event!

2026 is Chelmsford MC's 70th anniversary, and we are planning our celebration event on Saturday 16th May - it will be held at the County Hotel in the centre of Chelmsford.

Tickets are just £40 for a three course meal, disco and various awards presentations.

You can book accomodation at the event hotel (please book direct with the hotel quoting Chelmsford MC for a discount), or there are plenty of other hotels near by.

Thursday 17th July - CMC Summer Barbecue

Following a very busy and successful first half of the year, which included the Brands Hatch Winter Stages, the completion of the 12 Car Winter Series, the Javalin Jumbo Targa and the East Anglian Classic, as well as members competing on and supporting numerous other events hosted by other clubs, Chelmsford Motor Club's committee would like to invite all members and their guests to a summer barbecue to be held at our new club night venue from 8pm on Thursday 17th July:

CMC Club Nights - May, June & July

Following the success of our March club night and awards presentation (some of you may have seen the photograph in Motorsport UK's Revolution Magazine this month of Hugh Chambers presenting Gary Nicholls with his long service award), the CMC committee has decided to make Little Waltham Sports and Social club a regular venue for the forthcoming club nights and we'd really welcome your support to boost the social side of the club.

For the next two regular monthly club nights we are meeting at Little Waltham Sports & Social Club, Tufnell Hall CM3 3NY  - the same venue as our Awards Presentation in March.

 New Members and anyone interested in finding out what we get up to are welcome.

20th March Club Night - Little Waltham

This is a reminder that the March Club Night isn't in Danbury but at Little Waltham , Sports & Social Club, Tufnell Hall, The Street , Little Waltham , Chelmsford CM3 3NY .  Parking front & rear and if dry on the edge of the Sports Pitch.

This will be a busy night as we are presenting the Annual Trophies for 2024, The Winter Series 12 car series for 23/24 ( yes a bit late ) , and a special trophy to Gary Nicholls from Motorsport UK from their CEO Hugh Chambers.  Hugh will give a short brief and take some questions.

Change of venue, our normal venue is under going some works, so for this month we will be meeting at :-

The Cricketers Arms , Penny Royal Road, Danbury CM3 4ED

This will be a normal club night, this Thursday 20th Feb

But put next month's date in your diaries for the annual CMC awards night, more details out soon.

We have confirmation The Bell will be open and expecting us on Thursday 16th January

There will be much Brands Hatch Winter Stages chat as the Set Up Teams & Organisers make final preparations for the weekend.

All are welcome, non members, new members and of course Competitors.
