Navigator wanted for Halo Targa

I need a navigator needed for the Woodbridge Halo Targa on 28th June. Plenty of sideways action guaranteed :) I don't care about age, sex, race, religion, political views etc, however, there's not a lot of legroom inside the car so taller people probably wouldn't be as comfortable as someone of average size :) Experience preferred but not essential. Road Section Rally Insurance

There is a new form of insurance for road based events from Motorsport UK

Motorsport UK has agreed a new Master Road Section Top-Up Insurance Policy arranged by Kingfisher Motorsport and underwritten by First Underwriting. This new policy will help ensure participants have access to the minimum third-party cover legally required for vehicles using the public highway.

Dave Shaggy Saint - RIP

It is with unbelievable sadness that I must report the untimely passing of my friend and star of East Anglian Club Motorsport Dave Shaggy Saint.

Shaggy first came to motorsport as a marshal about 15 years ago when his son Huey started attending events with his stepfather David Taylor,  and of course joined CMC despite living near Lowestoft.

Preston Rally - Nav available

Navigator available…

Was due to be driving, but car has failed… 

11th and 6th driving last two years, I know the event very well having marshalled and helped run sections in the years before that. 

Got all my own nav kit, happy to contribute to entry.

Best result navving on the Preston 19th overall / 2nd in class.

Rally of the Tests winner - John King

John King , our reigning Road Rally club champion has won this years 3 day Rally of the tests which started in Windermere and finished in Llandudno.

This is a tough event with an international entry and mirrors the RAC rallies of the pre forest stage rally era.

John was using a relatively new to him Lotus Elan +2 - not a car with a rally heritage - so well done getting it round. Lotus Cortinas filled the rest of the podium .  Newer cars pre 1991 ( Escort, Golf , Nova etc) are allowed to compete but none of them beat the top 5 crews in eligible pre 1968 cars.
