MGJ Brands - Competitor Bulletin - What does "in date" mean for overalls

In the competitor bulletin there is a line item that states:

- Please check your Overalls and Helmets are of the correct Specification and are in Date!!!

Concious that some of the Blue book content is ever more restictive, but I cannot find any reference to dates for helmets or overalls. All I can find is as follows:

- K9.1. Clean Flame-Resistant overalls, must be worn to cover from ankle to wrist to neck
- K9.1.2. Special Stage Rallies, Sprints and Hill Climbs: FIA 8856-2000 / FIA 1986 Standard

MGJ Engineering Brands Hatch Winter Stages - 12th Jan 2014

Chelmsford Motor Club and MSV are pleased to announce the second running of the MGJ Engineering Brands Hatch Winter Stages on Sunday 12th January 2014.

The format will be very similar to 2013, with 8 stages totaling approximately 40 miles for an entry fee of £250.

OMC Lotusbits Bolero Rally Time Trial

Oxford Motor Club will run a rally time trial at Arncott, near Bicester, on Sunday 24th November 2013. A rally time trial is for a driver only, who holds a min of a Rally Nat B licence in a stage legal car. CMC members are covered by the associations invited.

The course is 1.4 miles long, and the intention is for it to be run five times in each direction i.e. ten runs in total. The slowest timed run in each direction will be dropped from the overall time. The entry fee is £95.

As the club's Media Officer, it is not newsworthy nor surprising that I enjoy media related activity. However, aside from thinking about the MGJ Engineering Brands Hatch Winter Stages amongst other things, having secured an entry for the two day national event at Wales Rally GB, working on sponsorship deals and publicity for us for the above is a priority.

We are grateful to our current confirmed sponsors The Rover Centre, Muze Media and Humphris of Oxford for their support. This makes a real difference and is appreciated.

2013 Mark Ellis Motorsport Woodbridge Stages - 22nd September

Entries are now open for the Mark Ellis Motorsport Woodbridge Stages on 22nd September 2013.

This is a round of the 2013 Hamilton Classic ACSMC Stage Rally Championship, the 2013 Ward Construction AEMC Stage Rally Championship, the 2013 Corbeau Seats ASEMC Stage Rally Championship and the Kick Energy PIRELLI 2013 Junior F1000 Championship. It is also the nominated event for the Inter Association Stage Rally Event, so get your entries in early.

On offer are seven stages with about 60 stage miles for £220.
