A Taster Permit has been organised for the Autosolo/Autotest which is being held at Woodbridge on July 20th.

This means that anyone who has never tried competing before and may not even be a member of a motor club can come along and see if they would like to try it out. Previously we have run these Tasters so that you would spend the morning session watching the competitors so that you had an idea of how the tests work. In the afternoon you would use your car on the same tests as everyone else and be a proper competitor.

Young drivers ( 14 years and over ) and newcomers to autotests and solos may like to be able to try the tests at Debden on July 7th.
WS/ECMC have a PCA permit for this event which allows young drivers to compete.
The regs require an adult driver to sit alongside and the car must be a touring car ( not a soft top or sports car )
Drivers who would like to try the tests and who have a RTA license but are concerned about getting lost can also compete with a passenger/navigator. For them almost any hood up car will do.
The tests will be all forward and not tight.

Round 6 ( the final round) of the Anglian Autosolo Challenge takes place on Sunday October 28 th at Waterbeach Barracks near Cambridge.
The entry list will remain open until Friday 26th but early entries will be appreciated.

This time we share the venue with the All Wheel Drive Club who have a two-day round of their National Comp Safari Championship on the infield. It should be a terrific motorsport weekend and,since it is a no-spectator site, the only way to be part of it will be to enter or marshal.
