Club night - Thursday 17th Oct - Navigational Training

October's club night is a week before the first 12 car rally of the new Winter Series, so a few 'expert' navigators will be on hand to offer training and guidance to beginner and novice navigators. There's no fixed agenda - we'll tailor our advice to the audience - but the evening is aimed at helping navigators (and their drivers) who have done no, or very few, events as well as those more experienced crews who need a bit of guidance or advice on specific topics-  eg timing, a style of navigation that causes problems or taking the next steps in the sport (eg the Preson Rally!).

July Clubnight - Rally Car Preparation Night

Matt Endean's picture

The July clubnight on Thursday July 18th will be held at our normal venue (The Bell) with a focus on rally car preperation.

This will be led by CMC Chairman Matt Endean, this will be done outside (hopefully in the evening sunshine!) looking at a few cars.

For this it would be good if a few club members could bring their rally cars along as discussion pieces, we only need a few so if anyone can help can you let me know.

Club Night - Thursday 16th May

The third Thursday of the month is club night at the Bell in Danbury. In May it's another noggin and natter evening, but we are planning some 'themed' sessions for future club nights.

June 20th will be historic rallying - it's two days before the East Anglian Classic and we're expecting a few of the organising team and competitors to attend - notably for test & regularity signing on, documentation for marshals and any last minute advice and support for competitors.
