As flagged up on the front page of the website I can now confirm the booking of Rayleigh Cricket Club for the annual awards night on Thursday 17th March.   See the Awards List to see if you have won something.

The club is in Rawreth Lane, Rayleigh SS11 8SN and an easy 10m drive from the A12 at Chelmsford, and 18 mins from Junction 29 ( A127) of M25.  It will be arrowed from Rawreth Lane , you go past the football club/play area/car park then the Cricket Club is on your left.

Awards Night & Buffet - Wednesday 28th July

Subject to the government guidelines allowing unlimited socialising after the 19th July the club will host a buffet and awards night on Wednesday 28th July for all club members , families friends and award winners.

The venue is at The Lodge Country Inn Burnham Road, Battlesbridge SS11 7QT - near the A130 Rettendon Roundabout. We have exclusive use of The Marquee with it's own garden , bar & toilets. 

Further details will follow , in order to ascertain attendance numbers but in the first instance mark your diaries.

Provisional Social Date 15 July - Free Food/Awards Night

Mark your diaries for a social evening in The Marquee at The Lodge Country Inn, Near Rettendon/Battlesbridge SS11 7QT.

We hope to host an awards presentation for two years of Club Championships and the 12 car Winter Series on Thursday 15th July from 7.00 pm.

There will be Buffet Food paid for by the club to all club members/families/award winners.

 

The date is Provisional until the Govt announce social gathering numbers on 14th June. Fingers crossed for our first social gathering for "years".

Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Open Day - 10th March

The Essex and Herts Air Ambulance is a very important charity that CMC supports to the tune of £2000 per event from the Corbeau Seats Rally Tendring & Clacton. Just before the pandemic kicked in we were trying to arrange a tour of their base at North Weald. That hasn't been possible, but instead EHAAT has invited all members to a 3D Virtual Tour at 10.30 on Wednesday 10th March, with an interactive Q&A session with staff and presentations from paramedics and grateful customers.

Club Meeting Tonight at The Dog & Partridge

There's a club night tonight at The Dog & Partridge 191 Main Road, Great Leighs, Chelmsford  CM3 1NR

On March 19th the clubnight will be at High Easter Village Hall and include the Annual General Meeting and Annual Club Awards night. Award winners will be contacted by email.
