New Improved Kebab BBQ 20th July - Responses Required

The Annual BBQ and Winter Series Awards Night will have some changes this year.

A new BBQ has been constructed at the Generals Arms and I'm working on a new menu and details will follow on this site.

The first job is to get it in your diary and sort out who you are bringing , friends neighbours etc. Because we are expecting to go for some decent kebabs we must confirm numbers before the day and individual personal emails will be sent , as well as taking responses on this forum.

May 18th Club Night

The emphasis for this month's club night is on navigators and navigation. For beginners John Conboy is running the tabletop rally which was originally scheduled for the April club night, and for those interested in the dark arts of regularity timing Paul Brewerton will be offering a short seminar/question and answer session, prior to the 28th May Sunday morning 12 car and of course the East Anglian Classic, both of which feature regularity sections.

Hi All, I am putting on a training evening for all levels, I plan to tailor it to your needs.

Is ther any particular type of nav you are struggling with.

A few of expert/ master navs have offered to come along and offer one to one help.

Use and abuse these guys.  Let me know in advance on this site what you require and I will plan

Chelmsford Motor Club 60th Anniversary

In 2016, Chelmsford Motor Club will be 60 years young!

On Saturday March 12th 2016, Chelmsford Motor Club will be celebrating 60th years young with a dinner and Dance at Chelmsford City Racecourse. Tickets are £35 per person.

Most of you will have receive a postal invitation to our 60th Anniversary soon. You can now RSVP online by following the Entry Form link on this page.

We will need your full name and your partner’s full name, your dinner choices and any food allergies for both partners.

Frontal Head Restraint Demonstration - 19th Nov 2015

You should all be aware that the Motorsport UK will require all stage rally competitors to wear Frontal Head Restraint devices in 2016. The BS6658 AF/R helmet standard is also no longer valid - so most of will have to buy new equipment for next year.

To help you make your choices Chelmsford Motor Club has invited Corbeau along to its Thursday November 19th club night at the General's Arms, Little Baddow, near Chelmsford (just off the A414 from Danbury, east of the Chelmsford).

Annual Awards Night 19th February

All the winners of the clubs 2014 championships , and 11 runners up in the best supported championships, have been sent personal invitations to attend the awards evening at The Generals Arms on 19th February 2015

The club will also host the awards presentation for the Anglia Motor Sports Club  2014 Targa Challenge.

The presentations should start from 20.30 and all are welcome( members or not.)
