Thank you everyone that has contacted me today.

I'm not in Manila, have not been robbed and know how to spell "favour". Please do not send money to anyone on my behalf!

My jimbowie555 yahoo email account has been spammed and I have probably lost all my "personal" contacts, including 13 years of Preston Marshals.

The probability is that I will never get that account back, and I will get a new email for home/personal/CMC use.

Annual Trophies

It is that time of year again when we need to collect the Annual Trophies from the 2012 winners.

They can be returned to us via the next clubnight, January Brands Stages, or even the following January clubnight.

If you could arrange to return them it would be much appreciated.

MSA Club of the Year 2012 - Chelmsford Motor Club Recognised

For the third time in three nominations spread over five years Chelmsford Motor Club has been recognised as one of the best motor clubs in the country in the Motorsport UK Club of the Year awards.

The Motorsport UK committee has judged awarded us 3rd place (of 750 registered clubs) in recognition of the successful work that we are doing developing motorsport in East Anglia and the South East of England.

In 2007 we were also 3rd place and in 2009 we won the competition outright.

I am not involved with this event in any way but I think I will go along, to take look and listen to John Frankland, a well respected local historian.
It just seemed logical to me to post it as we as CMC members have an interest in Essex motorsport and I for one am interested in the past as well as the present.

Navigator needed for Woodbridge Targa

Hi, I am keen to do the Woodbridge Targa but my usual navigator is elsewhere so looking for someone to navigate for me in my enduro/stage prepared Rover 214. Experience not necessary!
Have done a few gymkhanas as driver and nav so have some idea what I am doing.
Would also be happy to nav for someone else in their car if they can nav for me.

hi , could me and my other half compete in a 12 car rally in just our normal car as its based on navigation and maps reading etc.? or do i need some kinda certain stuff to compete in it?

is the rules and regs on this , having trouble finding some

Just to say thank you to everyone I met tonight - everyone was so friendly and really glad I came despite the fact I might not be able to get involved too much just at the moment. So wonderful to see such a thriving club with so much going on - really looking forward to getting involved!
