Dr Dessie Nutt RIP

Anyone who organised/competed or marshalled on the British Historic Rally Championship over the past 15 years will be saddened to hear that Dessie Nutt  passed away this week.  In his yellow Porsche 911, co-driven by Geraldine McBride, Dessie was a 'giant'  presence in the BHRC, both on the stages and in the bar afterwards. A real gentleman who was a fierce competitor but who would never hesitate to help out anyone - whether that be personal, motorsport related or medical when needed.

Regularity Signing-on Problem !

Hello

Why do I need to remember a password in order to Sign-on for the next 12-car ?

I have no idea what I put when I entered, and there's no  ' Forgot Password ? ' button. So although I've put in an entry ( and paid !! )  I'm now at a barrier to go any further !

Any ideas, or am I the only idiot who doesn't keep a book with hundreds of passwords written in it ??

We are saddened to hear of the passing of former Chelmsford Club Member Richard (Dickie) Berris.

Richard was a member of the club for a number of years competing in Autocross Events.

He was also a member of the Berris Marshalling Team who have marshalled on a number of Chelmsford Motor Club Events recently.

Our thoughts go out to his Family at this time.

Save Motorsport at North Weald Airfield

TonyM's picture

A planning application is being made to Epping Forest District Council to operate the market there on Sundays now as well as Saturdays and Bank Holidays.

This would mean the end of club motorsport at this venue. The airfield has been an open space used for motorsport for approximately 50 years.

Finding areas for grass roots club motorsport is becoming harder and harder, especially in the South East. We need to try and influence the outcome of this application.
