We can now confirm the new stage rally in our area. The Rixy Stages will take place on 30th December at the STANTA MoD proving grounds near Thetford.
The venue will be new to most as a stage rally venue although it was used several decades ago. This is a single-venue event on 100% sealed surface using the many and varied roads within the site and there are two separate stages with no lapping to provide almost 60 miles of competiton in 4 loops of the two stages, so a total of 8 stages.
Details are on the website at Home | The Rixy Stages . Entries open on Monday 16th October. A large number of marshals will be needed, as usual, and marshals registration is now open via the website. All marshals will need to register there and provide their car details as this is a requirement by the MoD to gain access to the site.

Entries opened on Monday and after 3 days 59 have been received, so all looking good. Now need to build up our marshals list, registration at the website, www.rixystages.co.uk .

Marshal registration is coming along pretty well at this point but we still want more to provide good coverage for this exciting new event using the sealed surface roads of the STANTA MoD Training area which provides us with a 15 mile loop divided into two stages with each loop being run twice in each direction. STANTA is a closed venue, so no spectators are allowed and only those who are registered as marshals, officials or competitors will be admitted by the MoD.
