I've just had a call from one of the organisers of Panfield Village Fete, which is from 12 - 4 this Saturday 27th June. They were on the orute of the East Anglian Classic, which is how they got my number, and would love a few classic/interesting cars to attend. I know it's very short notice but good to have a positive follow-up to an event. If anyone in the Braintree area with a classic is available they would make you very welcome.
