Historic Rallying

EAC Marshals and Officials IMPORTANT.

Registration as a marshal closes this weekend so if you would like to come along please don't delay registering on this site.

You will receive a request for SECURITY DETAILS by email from me. Security at Wethersfield is understandably tight and the security staff at the base will be in charge, not us. They require car and personal details beforehand and we will be providing this on Tuesday. If you are not on the list you won't get in and there can be no last-minute applications, unfortunately. This does apply to everyone.

HRCR Historic Rally Training Day

paulbrewerton's picture

If you are interested in trying Historic Road Rallying but have no idea about regularities and historic rallying in general the HRCR (who run the National Championship) are running training days for newcomers to the sport. See the East Anglian Classic page for details. Remember from 2014 Historic rallying is open to cars up to 1985 so dig out those early pugs, metros and fiestas!

East Anglian Classic Entries Open

paulbrewerton's picture

We are pleased to open entries for the 2013 running of the East Anglian Classic Historic Rally on Saturday 22nd June 2013.
As last year, alongside the main event there will be the East Anglian Classic Run, for CMC members only, and open to any pre 1981 car, without the need for Competition Licences or HVIF forms.
Get your entries in soon, and if you can't compete, get in touch with our chief marshal Tony Burchnall and offer your services.

Clerk of the Course

As you can see on the website, entries are open for the 2012 East Anglian Classic National B Historic Road Rally, as well as the East Anglian Classic Run, for which all you need is a pre-1981 car and Chelmsford MC membership.
Entries are invited from Chelmsford members, and of course we will be looking to club members to come out and marshal. Entry forms and marshal registration are on the website, or you can just get in touch with chief marshal Tony Burchnall.

Clerk of the Course.
