More Javalin Jumbo Targa Thanks from the C of C

Firstly thanks to Tony  Michael the Event Secretary, document printing and a speedy results service ( assisted by Kelly ).

To the set up and clear up team Geoff Lobb, Gary Maddocks, John Davie, Chris Slack, George Hendry , Dave Saint , Spike Rahman & Karen Scott, to Brian Hemmings for Event Security/Venue Arrangements , Dave Judd Radio Controller & Safety Officer , Ben & Karen Scott rescue & Steve Wood Medical.  Dave Saint is new to the team and did a splendid job with marshal recruitment & allocation.

Thanks also to the marshals, at least 50 of you in addition to those named above, and to the competitors ( 71 crews ) who seemed to enjoy their day out.  After 50 minutes of competition the top 3 were separated by just 5 seconds with victory going to Alan Coombs in the Clio Williams

Thanks

Thanks are also due to the scrutineering team who managed to process 71 entries in an hour and a half, then most of them marshalled all day. Great way to run a West Essex Car Club reunion! It shows that if you have a large enough team and it is planned by organisers well in advance rather than some kind of afterthought, scrutineering can be efficient and effective.

Dave - you had left by the time I had finished clearing up.  I gave my radio and spare battery to Jim.

Cheers
