Some of you may find this interesting or informative. Perhaps some of you may want to give this a go in the future... welcome to closed road rallying in the most beautiful area of Spain!!
The next round of the Spanish Tarmac Championship is happening this weekend in the area where I come from (Asturias, Northern Spain), in fact one of the Special Stages starts 1km away from my house in the seaside. The HQ of the 39th Rallye Villa de Llanes is 25 km from Ribadesella).
Below is the map of the stages, you can get an idea of the length of them. There are 5 different ones run twice on the day:
The organisers have uploaded all the stages in full on their youtube channel, beautiful roads and magnificent scenery.

The picture below shows the all the safety vehicles that run ahead of the competitors on every national rally. Unfortunately rallying only makes the news when ugly things happen, but safety is the main priority of rally organisers.
The Vallejo brothers took the overall win in one of the Porsche GT. The event was lead by a local crew in a Fiesta R5 until the final stage.
Lots of videos on Youtube but here is a link to one of them https://youtu.be/zrXWwEwYG1c
