Club & Volunteer of the Year - recognition for Tony Clements

Well done to everyone in the club for making what has been an excellent year. We hope to have a senior Motorsport UK official present our trophy and £1000 at the awards night on March 21st.

This link should work for the announcement:

Congratulations must go Northern Irish club, Enniskillen Motor Club who I understand only narrowly beat Chelmsford in the club of the year points allocation. They run both a forest rally and a closed road event and I'll be trying to find out what we need to improve on next year..

Volulnteer of the Year was Northern Irishman John Comiskey, who in 2018 was involved in the Ulster, Donegal, Monaghan, Cavan, Sligo, Galway, Omagh, Enniskillen, Cookstown and Ballynahinch rallies, among many others including Wales Rally GB, volunteering across Motorsport UK and Motorsport Ireland events.

The Clerk & Steward award went to Northern Irishman Paddy Haveron. What wasn't announced was that Corbeau Seats Rally Tendring and Clacton event director Tony Clements finished a very commendable second in the category. Tony has put a huge amount of effort of the last few years to make our closed road rally a success and I'm sure will get further recognition as the event becomes established in the calendar.
