Navigator Needed Brands Hatch Summer Stages

Hi my name is Chris and I will be running a 1.6 fiesta mk5 in the Brands Hatch Summer Stages, just waiting on Motorsport UK log book. This is my first event.

I'm in need of a navigator. Is anybody interested?

Someone with some experience would be appreaciated as this will be my first event, but anyone considered. :)

Chelmsford Motor Club and MSV are delighted to announce the return of the Hutton Kitchens Brands Hatch Summer Stages, which will be held on Sunday 24th August 2014.

After a year hiatus, the 2014 event promises to be back bigger and better than ever before. With the support of MSV and the Motorsport UK, Chelmsford Motor Club has worked hard to utilise even more of the venue than the previous summer and winter stage rallies have used.

Navigator needed for Flying Fortress Stages

Roy Gravestock has lost his navigator - very careless - and needs a replacement for next week-end, Flying Fortress Stages. Anyone over a certain age will know Roy, any youngsters may not. If you are interested, let me know. Can he drive? Well he and I won AEMC championship, the Mintex National championship 1300 class and came 3rd in class on the proper RAC Rally ( 4 day event ), many years ago.

***CLOSED ROADS PUBLIC CONSULTATION***

The government has today announced a consultation on closed road motor sport events on mainland Britain. This consultation runs for six weeks until 10 April 2014.

The Motorsport UK has therefore prepared a special document outlining:

• What is means for motor sport
• How you can play your part in achieving a change in the legislation

Please help us to make the most of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!.

Towncross Engineering South Downs Stages 2014

After a shakedown of the car it's time to concentrate on this event for me and my co-driver. Any other CMC crews competing?

I'm after a favour if anyone is able to help... Looking to beg/borrow/steal/hire a set of spots for this event after 'losing' mine in a rallying incident. If anyone is able to help please contact me!!

I'm about to finish my car for staging, and I was wondering if anybody had used Maxsport R85 tyres before. I would like to know if they are any good. I am working on a tight buget.

MGJ Brands - Competitor Bulletin - What does "in date" mean for overalls

In the competitor bulletin there is a line item that states:

- Please check your Overalls and Helmets are of the correct Specification and are in Date!!!

Concious that some of the Blue book content is ever more restictive, but I cannot find any reference to dates for helmets or overalls. All I can find is as follows:

- K9.1. Clean Flame-Resistant overalls, must be worn to cover from ankle to wrist to neck
- K9.1.2. Special Stage Rallies, Sprints and Hill Climbs: FIA 8856-2000 / FIA 1986 Standard
