A pressure group has recently been formed to highlight the risk that Welsh forest rallying may have to cease owing to a proposed doubling of charges being asked for by the Welsh equivalent of the Forestry Commission.

Motorsport UK Chief Executive recently wrote an open letter stating that the Motorsport UK is currently unable to reach an agreement with Natural Resources Wales.  NRW are seeking to double the cost of using forestry roads from June 2016 onwards.  If they do not change this stance – if effectively ends the viability of events to run.

I am arranging a Tarmac Rally test day at Blyton Park, week commencing 28th March we will use the east circuit with some variations, like hairpins etc. You can see the layout on their website. I'm looking for 3 other cars/drivers to share the cost which will be £300 each inc vat. 1 car on circuit at a time so you get 6 X 15 minute runs in the day & 45 mins Fettle time between. Hi all, I am competing in the 2016 Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship. I am pretty much a novice in this area and this is my first season in the chamioship. First entry is already in for Tour of Epynt on 13th March 2016. Have a well prpared Vauxhall Corsa which is all ready to compete in the B9 class. Not too fussed on previous experience but an eagerness to learn and have a laugh in the car is a must, would prefer someone willing to make some kind of contribution (negotiable). Get in touch!!
