WANTED. Bosch RKLE150 rotating beacons

Tony-k's picture

I am looking for 2 bosch RKLE150 rotating beacons for a heritage fire engine that i am in the process of restoring. Sadly, these particular beacons are no longer produced so i cant simply go and buy 2 new ones. I am hoping that someone somewhere has 2 of them sitting in a shed or garage gathering dust and would like to sell them. They were common place on fire engines and ambulances in the late 80's and 90's especially on the London and Essex vehicles and were affectionately known as the 'bucket lights' owing to the shape and size of them.

MG ZR 1.4 FOR SALE ( add update )

royineson's picture

I have for sale a 2004 1.4 MG ZR +

I've done a lot of work on it already but still needs a little more T.L.C

to put it back into full working order just dont have the money left to do it.

It has M.O.T till May 2016 half leather seats, good alloys, spot lights and electric sunroof.

Main jobs still to be done are fitting a new offside wing ( which is in the boot awaiting painting and bolting on ) rest of bodywork is in great condition with no rust at all.

Now sorted for Seats - Must not be tubular steel

I' m hoping to find some second hand stage seats now out of date for a sensible price - for a non stage car.  Must be lightweight, carbon or glassfibre, and branded.

Not wishing to make light of your misfortune (assuming you've fallen foul of the age limit), but maybe I can take a little of the sting out of it...

Thanks.

Endurance Spec Purple Rover 214Si with Stage Log Book for sale

paulbrewerton's picture

Having purchased the white Rover 25 for course car duties and possibly the odd targa, the purple Rover is surplus to requirements. It was built in 2006/7 by Colin and Kevin Smith to a similar spec to the Rover Centre  cars. Safety Devices cage, welded in rear strut brace, alloy sump guard, standard uprated suspension, Cobra Monaco seats, Sabelt 4 inch 4 point harnesses, Brantz 2+, all included. Standard Rover 1400 engine and box. I think the ECU has been chipped but I cannot confirm this. Adjustable front strut brace.
