Entries are now open for the first round of the 2015/16 Winter Series. Entries should be made using the online entry system.
We will need marshals, equipment car, closing course car and DSOs. I appreciate that many of you are involved in the Stage Rally the same weekend but if you can spare an hour or two on a Friday night it would be much appreciated. Please post here or email
with your offers.

i have an entry in for the Priestley 12 car in a few weeks but my navigator Stuart and his wife are expecting their second baby on or about the same date so will not be sure of doing the event. I dont want to miss it so if anyone would like a ride please contact me ( pat@front-door.co.uk ) or reply here.

Hi Paul - We are currently 4th Expert on the entry list, but if we get bumped off the bottom by later Beginner/Novice entries, I'll happily marshal for you.
Anywhere in the Stour or Colne valleys is fine with me.
Mike Banks
Got our entry in as soon as i spotted it open yesterday, and we were still no.8! (it still shows pending even though i paid Paypal)
I reckon they are going to be popular again this year.
Looks like we were 4th expert (I think we actually beat Mike/Mark with our entry!), so same applies for me if there are too many experts, anywhere in the valleys is OK.
Cheers
Colin
Can you put Tony Burchnall and myself down for an entry
I am away until tonight and will do form in the morning

hi paul
it doesn't look like i will be able to find a navigator for the 12 car and i dont want to take a place away from some one else so i will withdraw my entry. i will however come and be your DSO if you want me then i can get 6 points for marshaling. let me know if i can help
come on
one of you beginners or novice navigators must be interested in a ride on the up and comeing 12 car, my usual man cant come out to play so im looking for a replacement.

Volunteers needed to officiate on the Pristley 12 Car Rally next Friday 25th September. The event is in the north essex/south suffolk area, and most controls are easily accessed from the A12. I'd be very grateful if you can spare a couple of hours to help run a time control or two.
I'll be approaching people at the club night tomorrow evening so please don't run & hide if you see me coming!
Thanks
Paul Brewerton
Pat,
We are booked in for the 29th, so providing nothing happens sooner i am avaliable.......

Stuart

Unfortunately, the Spitfire suffered some suspension damage on the recent Club Triumph Ten Countries event, and this won't be fixed in time for Friday.
I've tried changing my entry to show the replacement but can't seem to get it to work. Computer says no...
Can you change it for me please Paul? - new details are Alfa 159, Red, 1900cc, reg B10 MPB. Everything else the same.
Thanks - Mike Banks
These have been sent to the email addresses on the entry forms. In most but not all cases that is driver and navigator. If you don't receive them tonight then get in touch with your other crew member first, then if there is still a problem contact me.
Paul
This will be sent out either later tonight or early tomorrow morning. I am still 1 marshal crew short so if anyone can do a control that would be VERY much appreciated. I can be flexible as to which control it is...
Regards
Paul
Update 9.30 pm marshal documents sent out.

What's the closet location to CM0 7HP Paul? What time would I need to be there? Not sure it's workable but let me know and I'll assess
Hi Mike
Got that last one covered so no need to bust a gut, but thanks.
Paul
cool, hope a good time is had by all, maybe I need to take advantage of my enforced rally break to get the Dolly back on the road!
Big thanks to Paul and all his team of marshals and officials for an enjoyable night.
It was great to be back on the lanes. I enjoyed the 'new' car and only a slight navigational mistake towards the end prevented us from getting a better result. A nice choice of lanes with some hanging dust that added to a proper rally feeling...
It was good to see old (no pun intended) faces making a come back, and that beginners made it to the finish. In fact, it was good to see them back on the road after some help...
I hope everyone was bell behaved and no PR issues arise from the event.
No Halloween for Lucy so I'll offer my services to Paul B. as a marshal or course/closing car if required.
See some of you on Sunday at Wethersfield.
Luis (white 106)
Paul,
Many thanks to you, your organising team and the Marshals who came out to give us a great opening event of the 2015-2016 Winter Series. Great choice of lanes and I take Lius's point about the dust. Great.
Unexpected result for Jim and me. We were hoping the do the route within OTL at best. Very well done to the Beginners and very well done to Lius and Lucy for helping one crew to get back on route. If there was a "Spitit of the Event" award they would certainly deserve it. True Sportsmanship!.
Regards,
Graham.
Good Morning
Having checked my addition the final results are below. Detailed results have been emailed to Tony and will appear after the weekend.

Thanks from me too for last night. Good fun - mix of plotting on the move and pausing to plot. Learnt my lesson on being careful with grid references now! And glad the beginners were ok after their field excursion - fair bit of mud being cleared off the trainers this morning!! :) sad that I can't make it out in October but look forward to hearing about it and then getting back into it in november.
Thanks to Paul and all the others who helped.
