I've been wanting one for a while and it seems that now it's the time.
What do you lot have in your cars?
Circuit innovations have this: www.circuit-innovations.co.uk/digitalclock1.html It can't get any more simple that that, hence lowest price.
JJC do this: www.jjcraceandrally.com/rally/tripmeter-rally-computer-accessories/jjc-1...
And the Roamertime: www.thebasicroamer.co.uk/epages/es133467.sf/en_GB/? It's the most expensive but I'm quite tempted as proven quality and more features than the others. There's a version with a bracket and one to mount directly to the dashboard. Any recommendation?
If I'm missing any other rally type clocks out there, please advise.
hi luis, i have a teratrip 303 geo trip that cost me just over £400. read about it on the web it will do everything you want and tell the time as well, if you want it i will let it go for £200 pat
Hi Luis
If you are going for a roamertime you may as well go for the roamertime + which includes trip function. You get 3 displayss, each of which can be time or distance depending on the mode you select. Peter has one in the mini and it is pretty good, compared to brantz or terratrip. If you already have a trip then a simple clock will do the job.
Cheers
Paul
I already have a very discrete Mini Calibri tripmeter which, apparently is a nice bit of kit so I only need the clock
Inclined to go for the Roamertime (just clock) as, even if more expensive, it should overlast the car.
Cheers Pat. Too fancy for my tatty 106. I missed you yesterday.
I bought a Circuit innovations clock for the Bagger, very easy to use, light enough to mount with Velcro. Large clear display, bright during the day . I have fitted a resistor and a switch which dims the unit at night , easy to do when fitting the power wires.
