Hi All, I am putting on a training evening for all levels, I plan to tailor it to your needs.
Is ther any particular type of nav you are struggling with.
A few of expert/ master navs have offered to come along and offer one to one help.
Use and abuse these guys. Let me know in advance on this site what you require and I will plan
Hi John, Tim could do with some Herringbone assistance.
Thanks
Simon
No problems. Consider it done
Great, thank you
This guide which Paul Barrett a few years ago is still quite a good training manual for all types of navigation,

Thanks Ed. I will print off and bring with me
I'll be at the ASEMC/AEMC awards do so cannot make it but I'll be interested in any material available please (I have Paul's nav guide). Thanks.
Well done John and thanks are due to those that attended last night - it looked very industrious.
I'm willing to take one of the trainees, or anyone , out on the 12 car 24th Feb. See 12 car forum thread.
Wow what a turn out. I counted at least 15 thanks all for making the effort
Hope some of it maid sense. I have taken on board the positive comments and hope to put some recent passed routes either on this site or on our Facebook page
Thanks also to Paul and Ed for their expert help
I am planning on putting on a table top rally at our April club night but will publish details on here nearer the time
For you all you beginner navigators
Jim Bowie has kindly offered to take a new nav out on the next 12 car next Friday
Colin has assured to give you more than ample time to plot the route with Jim's help who is also an expert navigator
You will also be given a marked map in a sealed envelope, which you can follow if all else fails
It is a fantastic offer
That's a great offer so c'mon people, let's have some more entries to make it a worthwhile event. A lot of time and effort has been put into the the running of this event by the organisers and marshals so it would be a shame if there were only 7 cars out there.
