The emphasis for this month's club night is on navigators and navigation. For beginners John Conboy is running the tabletop rally which was originally scheduled for the April club night, and for those interested in the dark arts of regularity timing Paul Brewerton will be offering a short seminar/question and answer session, prior to the 28th May Sunday morning 12 car and of course the East Anglian Classic, both of which feature regularity sections.

May 18th Club Night
MiRoute and nav underway
Sheet 167 latest edition
Pencils romer and rubber required
Paul, I;ve already spoken to Tony Burchnall about this. Unfortunately I'm not around this time to help out on the EAC, it's my favourite marshalling event of the year but unable to do it this time due to a badly timed family commitment in Spain that weekend.
To make up for it, Sofia and Valentina have commited to marshal on the 12 car regularity on Sunday 28th May if we can be of any help. I should be at the club night next week.
Cheers.
Luis
All completed ready for tomorrow night.
You will need pencil, rubber, roamer. Sheet 167
If you need a roamer copying let me know
If anyone is coming to the regularity seminar it would be useful if you bring a set of speed tables. These will be suffcient

Hi
The entry list for this is almost full, but I would like ideally one or two more marshals to make life easier, so if anyone wants to come out for a Sunday morning jaunt you would be very welcome. Please let me know and I'll send you the details of your control(s).
Regards
Paul
The final results, after I corrected the ideal time for IRTCB1, which was exactly a minute out, are attached. Ther may have been some minor changes of position but it did not alter the top 3. Well done everyone for a competitive event. Even those crews with high penalties did get some very good individual IRTC scores, but it shows what one big mistake can make in this type of event.
Hope to see you all out on the next round in July.
May 2017 AMSC Regularity 12 Car Results
I add our thanks to Tony and his band of helpers for today's event. To end up 3rd after a near 20-year hiatus from 'competitive' driving is entirely due to Crow and his mathematical brain. Oh - and (after the first manned control) the total absence of tractors ! !
Really enjoyed it, and looking forward to the next one in Norfolk. See you at Wethersfield for the Classic.

Thanks Paul and marshals. Really good route and locations for coffee and finish. Definitely a great way to spend a Sunday morning and it was good that it was so well-supported. Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks to Paul and all his helpers for a great morning, it was just a shame that our prayers for him to cancel the results for B1 came to nothing. perhaps we will have to try bribery next time.
It was such a shame that the wrong slot we took looked exactly the same as the one we should have taken for well over a mile.
