Just a little hello to introduce myself
im simon and pleased to meet you all! I was looking for a active motor club in the Cambridgeshire area and here was recommended more than once! I'm motorsports mad! Love to marshal and generally help! Compete in stock car racing and have an unhealthy collection of cars ! Looking forward to meeting and helping out!!
Hi Simon, I'm sure you will be made very welcome! We love people who are willing to marshal AND have a collection of cars (that's never unhealthy)!
You've come the right place as there's a lot going on at the moment.
We do need your help on 5th November -our targa rally is a driving test event (very popular as you can see from the 75 car entry). You can register online https://chelmsfordmc.co.uk/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=65 and we'll send you all the details.
Also, our Preston night rally in Suffolk (mostly) is on 2nd December and we have stage rallies at Brands Hatch in Janaury and Essex in April.

And welcome to CMC. We're a welcoming bunch and always looking forward to meeting new people, even more if they have an interest in marshalling... As Paul said, the club runs a good number of events and marshals are always needed. If you plan ahead, you can find the balance between marshalling and competing, there are enough events for everything.
Come and say hello at Wethersfield and I'm sure we'll convince you to come out on the Preston too. At the end of the day, is there a better plan than a night out in the Suffolk/Norfolk countryside watching cars getting stuck in the mud? :-)
