The AMSC summer series of Sunday morning 12 car regularity runs gets under way with an event starting at the Junction 28 services on the A12 on Sunday 27th May. Any car can enter, first car away 10.01. Entries (online on this website), marshals and course cars needed.
Thanks
Paul Brewerton
We have just about enought entries to make this a viable event, but we need at least 2 more marshals to be able to run it.
Please get in touch
if you can help.
I should be able to help. Maybe the ladies will come along too...
Luis
We'll be finishing at the Branoc's Tree pub in Great Notley which is quite family friendly - a morning marshalling and a sunday lunch out - what a lovely day!
Paul
Final instructions have been emailed today, as have the marshals instructions. There are still spaces available if anyone fancies a Sunday morning in the lanes. We are running on a skeleton staff so another marshal wouldn't go amiss either.
Paul
Hi Paul,
I have decided to bite the bullet and give this a go. If you can eMail me the "Final Instructions" that would be good. Otherwise I will see you at the A12 Service Area opposite Colchester Football Ground at around 8:15 hrs on Sunday morning.
Regards,
Graham & Jane
Congratulations to Colin and Ellen on their win on the first in the AMSC regularity 12 car series. Full results will be posted shortly here and on the AMSC website. My thanks to Tony B, Tony M, Kelly, Luis, Sofia & Valentina & George for their help in running the event. Next round is on Sunday 1st July, organised by Ian Doble and Dave Bell.
Now to get back to organising the EAC.
Paul
A great morning out with the only incidence of an ant bite for a very melodramatic Valentina. We even made it back in time to watch the dullest Monaco GP ever...
well done to everyone involved. Next for me is marshalling on the Hughes and the EAC.
Luis
Hi Paul,
Many thanks to you and all the marshals for a pleasent mornings drive through the Essex and Sufflok lanes. A worthwhile experience. Apologies to Tony for only visiting him once.
Cheers,
Graham and Jane.
ah
For not hanging around, we had a lot of family at home but wanted to get out and support the event. Glad we made the effort now after an unexpected win.
Thanks Paul and all the marshals for putting on excellent Sunday morning entertainment.
