Entires are open and so far we have 8 , so just a few spaces left. However we need a number of marshals and a course closing car. The event is taking place mostly in South Suffolk and a bit of North Essex so if any of our friends in West Suffolk MC would like to help out you will be very welcome.
Please get in touch either by posting here or email
Thanks

Organiser, Mince Pies 12 Car
Just to confirm the date is Friday 6th December, not 7th. Thanks to Andy and Chris for offering to do course closing car. We still need about 6 marshal teams.
Thanks
Paul
'Crow' and I have pulled our entry before being 'bumped' - it's great to see 12-car rallies with full entries !
Paul H and I are happy to marshal - I'll send you an email.
George
Thanks George, much appreciated.
With two weeks to go I still need 3 marshal teams to do a single control each. These controls are all within 5 miles or so of Clare, Suffolk, so could be suitable for anyone who lives that way, although obviously not exclusively.
All offers to the email address in my previous post.
Thanks to Colin and Jim for offering to marshal on the mince pies 12 car. That just leaves one control still to cover. Offers gratefully accepted!
Paul
All controls covered now. However Richard Gormley has had to drop out because of car trouble so there is a space in the entry list for one last minute entry.
Paul
The final results are here:

There have been some minor changes to the results I gave out last night. I had mistakenly added 2 minutes to Jim and Graham's total, which means they tie with Ben & Steve, but take 4th place on furthest cleanest.
Well done to Luis and Lucy for cleaning it, and to the 6 crews whe cleaned it for code boards, particularly Lorcan and James for 3rd o/a and first beginner.
Just a reminder that there is no obligation on organisers to place code boards on LWRs. I do accept it was a bit devious though!
Thanks go to Andy, George, Paul, Stanley, Brian, Tony, Ann, Colin & Jim for marshalling, and especially to Gavin and William for taking on clourse closing duties at the eleventh hour.
Cheers
Paul
Thanks to you and the marshalls for a most enjoyable (if wet) evening out,
Julie & Nick
Thank you to everyone involved last night...I really enjoyed it. The navigation happened to all just click with me last night which led to smooth plotting....really nice when this happens but is pretty rare to be the case all night. There were some brilliant lanes used which was fun for both of us too.
Huge thanks to Paul and all those involved in marshalling, checking route, sorting entries etc. We were particularly appreciative of the mince pies at mtc9 though trying to eat one with a dry mouth after 1.5hrs of calling instructions wasn't my best idea! :D
I'd like to echo the particular congrats to the beginners for getting round...and especially to Lorcan and James - great work!
My only issue was that on arriving home I found I didn't have my phone. Another 50min drive back to Long Melford at 7am this morning led me to finding it at the roadside where we'd been parked. Lesson learnt to take care when sorting my equipment out at the end of a rally.
Well that shows how law abiding (or just late risers) us Suffolk folk are that it was still there.
Paul
On the subject of misplacing items (for which I am very grateful for the honesty/late-risers in Suffolk!), as the last of us left the pub last night, a simple brown clipboard had been left behind - it only had the 'to whom it may concern' letter on it.
If the owner is going to the Preston I can take it with me (find me at marshalling signing on!) or I can try to remember to bring it to the January 12 car. Let me know!
A really nice event last night; thanks to Paul, Peter and all concerned for a great run through Suffolk on some brilliant roads. It was a tad too wet for the Spitfire and we lost a lot of time (and WD40) keeping the car going. I'm sure I saw a small fish inside the distributor cap at one point.... I think its time to try the Marigold Glove waterproofing mod next time out in the wet.
Many thanks to Paul and all the officials/marshals/crews for an evening of motorsport. Congratulations to Lucy and Luis for a clean run. Before we started, I said to Jim I was a bit rusty and not to expect too much. I realised just how rusty I was when we arrived at STC2. Still we made it to the finish and were rewarded with Mince Pies. Nice touch.
Graham Robinson
Just agreeing with the previous correspondance - Thank you to the organisers and especially the Marshalls - out on such a soggy night.
My beginner navigator is already giving me grief that I'm not going fast enough!!
We are now really looking forward to the next nights challenge.
