Well done to ECMC/AMSC for running a complete beginners 12 car last Friday the brainchild of Nick Skuse & Tony Burchnall with much input from Lucy Fryer bringing several new CMC members out for their very first foray. Lucy has posted a report accessible to "logged in" Forum users.
3 CMC crews finished the very first running of the East Riding Stages having taken much input from our Corbeau Clacton organisers.
The stages were dry & fast with just 19 retirements from 99 starters. Top seeding as 16 of the top 20 finshed in the top 20.
A slight amendment to results posted by Tony Michael. Tony Allery & Simon Dockray got a 2m penalty at MTC8 dropping them from 26th to 45th and diappointingly from 2nd i/c to 5th. That moves Ben & Simon Howlett up to 2nd i/c 26th overall and TC & I to 35th. "Local" crew Tim Mewett & Liz Jordan won Class C in 22nd place. The rally winner was David Henderson Fiesta R5 fresh from a win at Snetterton the previous weekend.
