Just a heads up that entries and marshal registration are now open for the next CMC Winter Series 12 car, which starts and finishes at the Hare and Hounds, High Garrett on 24th Feb.
Hope to see lots of you there.

Hi all
The Febuary FillDyke 12 car is now just 4 weeks away. So far we only have 5 entries and a handful of matshals. I could do with a closing car crew as well.
Any offers use the online marshal registration form, or post a message on here.
Thanks
Paul
With the event taking place 3 weeks tomorrow things are not looking great. We have 7 entries (is a clash with SCCON taking entries away?) and very few marshals. Thanks to Simon Howlett, Paul Barrett, Tony Michael and Kelly Radley for your support.
I still need a course closing car, ideally also a board/setup car but can manage without, and at least 4 more marshal crews for the event to be viable. A full entry list would also be nice.

Thanks for the tremendous response from potential marshals/course cars to my earlier appeal, although I can still accommodate a few more to spread the load. All we need now is a full entry list. I can promise an interesting evening on some of the finest lanes in north Essex.
Hope to see lots of you in 3 weeks time.
Thanks again
Paul
Some of you may have experienced a glitch when trying to register online to marshal on the Februaty 12 car. This has now been fixed and I would ask you to try again.
Thanks
Paul
Thankyou Paul and your band of marshals. A well deservered good entry and a most enjoyable night out. I will need to get my glasses checked before March - I was having problems finding the spot heihts by the end of the evening - have you noticed the way they get smaller as the night goes on.........

Good morning everyone
Thanks to all involved in last night's12 car. It seemed well received and the results were very close. 4 crews cleaned the route for fails and 2 cleaned it for time. There was however no overlap! Results are attached. There are one or two changes from those i announced last night but none that affected the positions. Notably penalties at NTC1 were cancelled as the finals stated there would be no penalties other than OTL, and car 10 picked up an extra 3 fails for missing STC9 which I failed to pick up last night.
Looking forward to the next one on 24th March.

Thanks to everyone for a great night out. The roads suited the old Triumph well last night and with the much improved forwards vision and lighter steering (headlamps readjusted & tyre pressures increased) this showed in our results. Hilariously before Colin opened the first envelope, he said, "I hope that there will not be too many spot heights tonight", as he had picked up a new map on which he had not had time to highlight any of them!
We would just like to thank everyone for last night, we had a great evening and we done better this time than The January Jaunt. Spot height 73 will live on in our memory forever 😬

Really enjoyed the route and nav Paul. Thanks.
