ECMC/CMC/AMSC ran 2 beginner well supported events last year......
So to build on a good thing we are running another on 22nd Sept. It's aimed a people/crews who have NEVER done one of these events but wants to give it a try, less experienced crews will be accepted (if numbers not filled by absolute begineers).
So you get 30mins + introduction/help/training and a couple of easy peasy 20 mile plots and runs eaither side of a short mid break to ask any questions and get any further help yoiu may need.
There will be lots of people on hand to help you and answer your questions and/or clalm you nerves.
Entries are via the ECMC.co.uk website
There is also a webinar instruction night on Wed 6th Sept. why not drop into that? deatils also on the ECMC website

ps all you 'experts' out there please turn up and help we need opening/closing cars, time controls, sholders to cry on..... etc. etc.
There are plenty of spaces available on the 12 car starting from White Colne Village Hall next Friday.
As it is a training event it will definitely run.
See you there.
Jim
As we have a limited number of beginners/firstimers We would be happy to put together soem more challenging navigation (for the same route) as a 'warm up' to the seasons first fullevent in October. Please contact if interested.

Julie & Nick
As of this afternoon 6 entrants, so space for more, I won't close entries untill Friday lunchtime (I need time to print it all off) - we will even provide biscuits at the start!
Nick, What about Marshals and Helpers? I said I would be avaiable on the night.
Regards,
Graham Robinson.
We have 7 paid up crews and the minimum number of marshalls to run,we can always do with more especially as helpers at for the Start and the Mid point
Overall plan:
The event starts at White Colne Village Hall please arrive between 18:00 & 18:15with welcome coffee and biscuits.
The entrants will be given a 1 hr briefing and training session including a coached plotting of the first half of the route,
The first car should depart at approximately 19:10.
There is a mid point stop at the BP services on the A12 (opposite Colchester Football Stadium.) Here the Entrants will be given a second set of instructions they will need to plot the second half of the route.
The events finish at the Swan Inn, Chappel.
Hi Nick, I'm aiming to arrive approx 5:45pm at the start. If its possible, could I do/help at the first TC on both routes?
Regards,
Graham Robinson.
Thanks I will pencill you in
