Newbie looking to get into Rallying

Hello all,

On Saturday I went to Brands to see your event, which I was invited to having not come across it before for some reason.  I already have a race license and have been doing some club level circuit race events for the past 9 years.

Currently I am booked in to do my BARS license at the end of the month so I can do an arrive and drive circuit rally or two before deciding what car I would like to get for the future.

In the meantime I am interested in being involved in some other events I can see these need an RS Clubman License.  Do I also need to do this if I am doing my BARS?

I live about 10 minutes South of Chelmsford, so nice and local.

Newbie Richard - welcome

Hi Richard,

If you are 10 min South of Chelmsford you must be near me in Noak Bridge, Basildon.

I'm retired & available most weekdays & evenings for a chat on 07799535190.   I'm involved in most of the events the club runs and will be at Snetterton for the next Circuit Champ Rally 8 Feb in some capacity. I'm Clerk of the Course for the Jumbo Javalin Targa Rally  at Debden near Saffron Walden on 30 March .

Welcome :)

Welcome :)

For smaller events where an RS Clubmans licence is needed, you can use your 'higher' grade stage rally licence.
