Following the success of our March club night and awards presentation (some of you may have seen the photograph in Motorsport UK's Revolution Magazine this month of Hugh Chambers presenting Gary Nicholls with his long service award), the CMC committee has decided to make Little Waltham Sports and Social club a regular venue for the forthcoming club nights and we'd really welcome your support to boost the social side of the club.

 

Dates for your diary are: The third Thursday of each of the next three months - May 15th, June 19th & July 17th

 

For the May evening we will lay on some snacks as an added incentive for you to attend.

 

The June date falls a few days before the East Anglian Classic, CMC's historic road rally which is based around Bury St Edmunds. Jim Bowie is chief marshal and as usual needs an army of helpers, so please volunteer here https://mtc1.uk/Marshals/EAC25/MarshalForm.php

We'd expect club night to be used for briefing, paperwork distribution and providing guidance to any first-time historic competitors, but there's plenty of space inside and outside the venue for those not involved with the rally to have a natter over a refreshment or two.

 

Arrangements for July are not yet finalised with the venue, but we're hoping to re-start the traditional summer barbecue and 12-car awards evening as we're expecting warm sunny weather.
