This is our first attempt at organising, so would greatly appreciate your support. Straightforward navigation (we have done a few CMC 12 cars so shouldn't be any harder than those!)
All offers to Marshall gratefully received!
More details and a link to the regs are here: http://chelmsfordmc.co.uk/node/3126
Your two (probably) newest members will be out on this in the Metro of PowaH!
Look forward to receiving your entry "theguv".

Colin your entry came in the post today.
Sorry for any confusion.
If i receive one from "the guv" i'll assume someone has stolen your identity and ignore it.

We now have eleven entries, so enough to run, but more would be welcome. We are running three classes now:-
EXPERT – straight forward navigation via handouts as normal.
NOVICE – All navigation ahead of the start.
BEGINER – marked maps. So perfect for navigators who fancy a go, but are not sure about plotting the route – anyone can complete this event. It’s down to the driver if they can clean it!
We would also be very grateful for more offers to marshal – north of Ashford.
Entries and marshals to Tim Loftus (
07799473124) or Paul Wickes (
07812603691)
We have a couple of drivers keen to enter, but looking for navigators. We are issuing marked maps with the full route for beginner navigators, so this might be an opportunity for anyone who fancies a jaunt round the lanes to have a go - No experience necessary.
Drop me an email if you are interested and I can tell you who wants what.
This event is next Saturday and there are still a few places left if anyone is interested.
We also need more marshals, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks to all for supporting the event, particularly all the Marshals.
Many thanks for putting on such a good night's entertainment, organisers and marshals alike.
My round trip of Herts - Surrey - Kent - rally - Surrey - Herts totalled over 300 miles and took just under 12 hours. It would have been worth it just to compete on such a well-organised event on such testing roads, but Joe's ever-increasing prowess on the maps meant we got a good result too, and was very much the icing on the cake.
It was my first event in Kent and I hope it will not be the last. Though I might consult the railway timetables next time :D
