Hi all , found your forum after hunting for another kind of motor sport, been onto off roading for about 7 years now but am fancying a change, I still co drive for another guy and compete in a few places around the uk anyone interested do a search on you tube for muddy truckers and you will see what we get up to, anyways I've seen clips on the endurance road rallying and really think I would like to give it a crack, even Kate ( other half) said she wouldn't mind either so were or what is the best place to start ? How often are they? And how far? I am in rochford (Essex) near Southend thanks in advance and hope to be involved with some friendly banter along the way!

Hi all
Hi Chris and Kate, I am John and sit on the committe as well as chief marshal. I am also involved in the endurance scene as a navigator. There is a national series and there is a web site available through this site or the British rally forum. Lizzie Pope is the person to speak to. You have just missed the last one of the season. The next one is in Feb next year organised by this club and based around Bury st Edmunds. You would be better informed if you come along to the club meeting as advertised above where a few crews might be available. I will not be there but if you let me know if you are going I will make sure you are made welcome. We also have the Preston night rally which is off road based and takes place around Thetford in Dec. if you have any more questions just post on this site and someone will hopefully answer them..John
thanks john for the reply , it would be great to go along to a club night if thats ok, is there a particular one to go to? will see if i can arrange to come some time very soon. i havent bought a car or anything yet as i wanted to find out other peoples recommendations as to what suits best. i will be trying to go to the one on the 18th of this month, is there some one i need to ask for when i go in , thanks
Hi Chris , you are more than welcome. We have a new venue at little Baddow and detail are on this site. I cannot make the meeting but if you make your self know to Paul Barrett or Jim Bowie or any one will make you feel welcome. Maybe speak to Ben and Karen Scott they can explain the endurance scene.if you have any specific requirement just let me know. John
