Car delivered to Mike Thomas approx. sep 2010 who was responsible for the strengthening of the shell and the installation of one of his special hand fitted roll cages
Shell completely stripped and all sound material removed
Hand fabricated multi point cage made and fitted to car
Cage is welded to rear suspension points
Fully welded to car down window pillars and door posts
All fuel lines inside the car
All brake lines inside the car
Steel braded pipes to each calliper
Rear suspension has been redesigned to incorporate turrets with escort coil over vertical dampers
Torsion bars have been retained. Solid mounted rear beam
This design eliminates the Peugeot bounce AT ANY SPEED OVER ANY SURFACE.
Recently fitted inner front wishbone mounts with plus 1 degree castor (what a difference )
Front struts are special design bilstien mono tube with extra travel especially for the Preston
A complete set of Gaz gold at standard height is included

The car is fitted with competition seats and belts that are not in date

This car has been built as a road rally car with all the prep done for a stage car. Built to do the Preston last year. Bad preparation caused the front strut to jive way while lying 6th with Adrian Gladwin as co-pilot. All parts replaced the car finished 13th overall in 2012. The car has so much more potential in younger hands. It needs in date seats and belts, a plumbed in fire system, a cut-off switch and window protection. The car has also completed on 3 twelve car rally’s with three awards and one gymkhana sharing the drive with Jim Bowie who will give an honest view of the car.
The time has come to give it all up so that’s why the car is for sale although I might be interested in a swop with a road car
