My jimbowie555 yahoo email account has been spammed and I have probably lost all my "personal" contacts, including 13 years of Preston Marshals.
The probability is that I will never get that account back, and I will get a new email for home/personal/CMC use.
The committee and other friends have my work email address ( which I can only access at work) but I try not to overload it with CMC stuff so I wont make it public.

Sorry to add the woes, but am I the only member to receive a request for $1,600 to be sent to Jim in Manila (via Western Union, of course!) after his cards etc were stolen? He is alleged to be in need of money for hotel bills, which may surprise him.

This sort of "stuck on holiday" fraud has been particularly successful recently. If the criminals were better at English, they would be even more successful; but that clearly wasn't Jim.
