Snetterton Charity Motor Show on Sunday 17th November - Volunteers Needed

Join us for the Charity Motor Show once again this year, as we are offering an exhilarating passenger ride extravaganza around Snetterton Race Circuit and a Motor Show with Car Club exhibits and Trade Stands!
From just £15 passengers can enjoy three thrilling laps of racetrack experience around Snetterton race circuit, choosing from an impressive line up of classic cars, performance cars, racing cars and supercars and the show will be raising vital funds for Local Charities.
The event promises to be a fun-filled day for all the family. There will be something for everyone including the opportunity to view some amazing cars close up, children's activities including passenger laps in trucks from the East Coast Truckers for children as young as 4 years old*, refreshments, car club exhibits, a motorbike show and trade stands.
For those motor enthusiasts looking to see the newest models, several local dealerships will be exhibiting, as well as a select group running around the 100 circuit for passenger rides."

We need some volunteers for this Sunday!!!

Money raised will go to Norfolk Cancer Charity, East Anglian Air Ambulance, East Anglian Children’s Hospital, East Coast Truckers Charity and the British Heart Foundation.

Martin Newson has already has some volunteers already but we need about 8 to 10 more people to help run the passenger rides. Martin Newson has been asked to run 5 garages that run the car passengers rides and has asked me to help him. Garages range from the standard production cars (£15-£20 per ride) to the supercars (£80-90 per ride).

We need volunteers to help passengers with putting helmets on, put seatbeats and harnesses on, wave cars safely on the circuit and a few more jobs that we need to cover.

Volunteers will receive a free pass to be a passenger in any car for a few laps. We may even ask you to go out for free in some of the cars early morning to encourage the public to have a go. Last year, cars ranged from Lamborghini, Ferrari’s, Nobel, Ginetta, Full caged rally cars, Mini’s, Escort Cosworth’s, Austin Martin’s, etc. They even had HGV truck cabs giving rides on the 100 circuit.

A £10 donation will be required when you park. This is a donation that everyone including volunteers, car drivers and trades and visitors need to contribute on the day.

You will need to be at Snetterton from between 6.30 and 7am and will finish around 4pm. If can only spare a few hours, during the day, this limited time will be greatly appreciated. This is not something SCCON or Chelmsford Motor Club is running but some members have volunteered to help on and help raise money for local charities. Snetterton will be open to the public from 8am.

If you can help, please send me a message to
