Borough 18 Motor Club are pleased to announce the first running of the Dave Playford “Powerush” Memorial 20/20 Rally.

The title gives a clue to the format, in that this event will have a maximum entry of 20 and a total of 20 Time Controls. This event is aimed mainly at the novice competitor to give them something with more of a challenge than a 12-car rally, and preference will be given to them should entries exceed 20 but we’re sure even the experts will enjoy the event.. The route will all be on sealed surface highway roads except for one short concrete white section, standard cars are encouraged. We’ll be using many of the classic lanes of the North Downs and Weald to keep the driver on his toes. The navigation will be simple varied and accurate aimed at the novice, understandable and do-able. Unlike a 12-car this event carries full Route Authorisation and a Motorsport UK Clubman Permit but as it is limited to 20 cars you won’t need a competition licence to compete. Insurance cover will be available to all whose own policy does not cover this type of event.

We are starting and finishing close to Harrietsham on the A20 very close to junction 8 of the M20. All on Map 189(D3) although the start and finish may be on map 188 but this will be given as a handout if necessary. The entry fee will be only £20.00.

The first car will start at 10.01pm and finish at about 1.30am so you won’t lose a whole night’s sleep so come and play.
